We had a fantastic beginning to the new academic year on Thursday- everyone was very smart in new uniform, full of tales of adventure over the holidays and ready to tackle new challenges in Year 6.
I can’t believe how much we have managed to fit into two days: maths investigations, science research, speech writing and volunteering for a range of responsibilities around school What a great start!
Friday afternoon saw voting taking place for House Captains and Sport Captains. Many congratulations to those children elected, and huge admiration for all those who dared to stand up in front of an audience of 60 and pitch for why they thought they had the qualities needed for these important jobs in our school. We’re proud of you all.
Onto more important matters… key skills. Everyone should have brought home some maths to complete along with a Literacy job description to write. Make sure you don’t give away to many hints as we want to solve your puzzles next week. All due in next Wednesday 10th September please.
Looking forward to working with you all this year. Keep up the great attitudes!
