Spelling key skills- Mrs. Rosevear’s group

Posted by on February 2, 2015

Today as part of our lesson we tried a ‘Spelling Bee’ activity.   We looked at words that end with ed.  Can you remember and tell me about one of the patterns?  Add ten words that end with -ed.  Can you think of some words that sound as if they should end with t but don’t?

One Response to Spelling key skills- Mrs. Rosevear’s group

  1. D.T

    END WITH ED.
    Murdered.
    Killed.
    Finished.
    Sacrificed.
    Exited.
    Bellowed.
    Called.
    Wanted.
    Agreed.
    Increased.

One of the patterns is when you have a word that ends with a e and you want ed on the end you just and a d to it no extra e.
